What is cab tilt?
Cab tilt system consists of a hydraulic cylinder which raises or lowers the cab, with two latches that lock the cab in the down position and release when the cab is raised. To operate the system, the cylinder is connected by flexible hoses to a reservoir and manual pump.
What do you need to secure prior to tilting the cab?
When the cab is tilted forward, a cab support is extended and engaged to hold the tilted cab in place. A locking pin is required to be inserted into the cab support to prevent the cab support from being accidentally disengaged and falling back into place. Cab support with locking pin inserted.
