1. Basic vehicle information
Vehicle Model: 100P/ Euro VI
Engine Number: 4KH1CN6LB
Driving Mileage: 280,000KM
2.Vehicle fault phenomenon
Customers reported that the vehicle dashboard frequently prompts automatic regeneration and the exhaust pipe occasionally emits smoke.
3. Fault phenomenon cause analysis, judgment and processing process
3.1 Based on customer feedback and checked the fault codes, it only reported that the engine nitrogen and oxygen emissions exceeded the limit value of 1.2 and the exhaust temperature had a large closed-loop control deviation higher than the upper limit.

3.2 After the normal dust cleaning process and assigning a carbon value to the vehicle, to force regeneration and it resulted in the engine shaking and blue smoke coming from the exhaust pipe. The T4 temperature dropped to 199 degrees (normally around 350), and T5 could not reach above 560, resulting in regeneration failure.

3.3 Fault phenomenon repairing process
Step 1 : Read the intake related data stream and found that the air volume deviation value was normal and the boost pressure deviation value was 111HPA.
Step 2: Checked the pipeline and there was no air leakage, and then replaced the intake pressure sensor, throttle, air flow meter and EGR valve on ABA to test(the customer replaced the EGR valve from the after-market factory), the fault phenomenon persisted.
Step 3: Read the fuel system data stream and found the current value of the metering unit was unstable, but the oil return volume of fuel injector was normal.
Step 4: Replaced the fuel filter element and during that we found the diesel had a peculiar smell and the color was incorrect. After communicating with the driver, we learned that drive added oil purchased from informal channels occasionally.
Step 5: Clean the fuel system and refill with Sinopec diesel.
Finally, it regenerates and the vehicle returns to normal.
