P2509 Loses Power Supply When IG ON

1. Fault analysis

After turning off the ignition switch, the VC61 AdBlue system still needs to be powered for 1-2 minutes to remove residual AdBlue from the Adblue pipeline. If the ignition switch is turned off and the battery power is cut off within 1-2 minutes, it will cause the AdBlue system to be unable to perform cleaning functions.

2. Fault phenomenon when violating the warning sign

2.1 LCD display shows abnormal AdBlue system;

2.2 The AdBlue volume is displayed as 0;

2.3 Fault code P2509 occurs and loses power supply during IG ON;

1. Start the engine once for 10 seconds;
2. G-IDSS clears the fault code (this operation should also be performed even it is not current), but the fault code remains unchanged if it is "not current" state.
3. Restart to confirm that there is no abnormal display of the AdBlue system any more, the displayed AdBlue volume returns to be normal, and the fault light is off.

Type B

Abnormal AdBlue system

Current

1. Start the engine more than three times and each time for 10 seconds.
2. G-IDSS clears the fault code, and the fault code changes to "Not current".
3. Restart to confirm that there is no abnormal display of the AdBlue system any more, the displayed AdBlue volume returns to be normal, and the fault light is off.
