Fault Phenomenon: Vehicle is running normally, but the vehicle fault light is on, dashboard displays fault code 22.
2.1 After checking dashboard fault lists, fault code 22 should be ABS receiving time out fault. And using KT710 to read the fault, fault code is U000F00. Then it was confirmed as ABS receiving timeout fault.
2.2 I-frame timeout is the fault code for CAN communication specially. ABS will regularly send wheel speed, ABS light, working condition and other data to VCU controller. If VCU controller doesn't receive related information, the fault code will be reported.
2.3 If fault code 22 appears, you should determine whether corresponding module is working and CAN bus is normal.
2.4 Fault repair processing
① The picture below shows fuse corresponding to ABS controller in chassis relay box.
In the controller pin definition, BATT corresponds to ESC01 and ESC25, IG corresponds to ESC28. After checking, the above are normal.
② After confirming it's not hardware problem, reading vehicle configuration and found VCU didn't set the vehicle information, reading VCU version and found it's the old version 15002.001. After updating VCU program to be 15002.002 and resetting vehicle configuration, fault phenomenon is solved.
