The retarder is equipped with the E-Module provided by ZF, and the vehicle ABS is matched with the retarder.


The retarder working indicator lights up through the hard wire of E-Module. Retarder self-check (light flashes when fault occurs) and normal working indication (normal work, light always on) can be carried out.
The retarder and the truck cruise control are cutting off through the hard-wired connection of the E-Module.
The retarder and the exhaust brake are linked through the hard, and are connected in parallel with the brake light, namely:
1) When the retarder turns on the 1∽5 gear, the retarder and the exhaust brake work together and the exhaust brake can also operate the combination switch to work alone.
2) When the retarder turns on the B gear (when the B gear has a braking torque output) or the 1∽5 gear, the brake light is on. The retarder and the brake light are lit through the E-Module hard wire. The retarder and the exhaust brake work independently, and the brake light can be lighted.
